Tracking baby milestones without the anxiety
Every developmental chart comes with an invisible asterisk: these are averages. Healthy babies reach the same milestones across a wide window, and comparison is the fastest route to unnecessary worry.
Ranges, not deadlines
First smiles, rolling, sitting and first words all arrive across a span of weeks or months. A baby at the later end of a normal range is usually just fine.
What's worth a conversation
- Loss of skills your baby previously had.
- No response to sound or to your face over time.
- A consistent, large gap across several milestone areas.
Logging milestones as they happen gives you a real record to share with your pediatrician — reassuring context instead of a fuzzy memory.
